If you ask me, dear, I'll have you know that we're now living in a highly eclectic time (not that you haven't noticed it already). Since the 60s drew to a close there have been no more iconic archetypes of female style. Following the 70s and 80s, which tended more towards the ridiculous than the sublime, we plunged headlong into a melting pot of vintage cultural references, which is still bubbling over full blast. A precarious time it is, without a uniform style model to go down in history, but then we can at least do plenty of mixing and matching at our own sweet will. In any case, the fact remains that women are still quite fond of striking a fine pose for the camera, and that's what my girls and myself have been doing here, either in the best tradition of some time- honored genres or as our 21st century eclectic selves.
